Le Girl Tones sono un duo rock composto da due sorelle, Kenzie e Laila. Girl Tones release their new single Leave The City today via Parallel Vision x Big Loud Rock, marking the duo’s return after a year spent playing shows around the world. Leave The City is the kind of song you scream with the windows down, breathing in the night air.
The duo shared: Leave the City is about the difficulties of growing up; it plays with the idea of loving where you come from while still feeling out of place. It’s a journey through pain and nostalgia in a place you love and hate at the same time.
In 2025, they made their festival debuts at Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, and Austin City Limits in the United States, as well as The Great Escape in the UK. They toured in support of Cage the Elephant, Silversun Pickups, The Velveteers, hey, nothing, and Sunday (1994).
Throughout the year, Girl Tones hit milestone after milestone. Their singles Blame, Cherry Picker, and Burnout earned Advanced Placement on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation. Biography
Girl Tones are a rock duo formed by sisters Kenzie and Laila. Both classically trained musicians, Kenzie moved from cello to guitar while Laila shifted from piano to drums. Their earliest releases—produced by Brad Shultz of Cage the Elephant—came out on his label Parallel Vision in partnership with Big Loud Rock.
